MQ Health Orthopaedic Nurses Conference:

Macquarie University Hospital recently held a conference for the fantastic Nurses who we cannot be successful without. Our Nursing teams work tirelessly and are incredibly dedicated to patient care so I was honoured to be asked to present at this conference and spend time engaging with the Nurses in a non-theatre environment.

A great day was had by our team at Limb Reconstruction @ MQ Health contributing to the very successful Inaugural Orthopaedic Nurses Conference where I was able to talk about the state of Ankle Replacement and its role in the treatment of ankle arthritis. I am passionate about these procedures and it is always exciting to be able to share my experiences.

Other topics covered were Robotic Knee Replacement, Surgical approaches to the hip, 3D planning in deformity analysis and correction and Anaesthetic techniques in the setting of complex orthopaedic surgery.

This is a great event and I look forward to the next one, I wish to congratulate Macquarie University hospital for supporting this educational opportunity.
