Surgical practices and techniques are constantly changing and improving. We are always keen to learn and teach what we have learned, this is something I am incredibly passionate about, so nothing makes me happier than when I am able to share my expertise with our friends from abroad.
I had the honour of hosting Dr Audrey Tan & Dr Chee Yu Han, 2 Foot and Ankle surgeons from Singapore for 5 days in early September. They were able to observe three ankle replacements and a bilateral percutaneous hallux valgus correction. It was an excellent exchange of experiences/approach and techniques to a range of foot and ankle conditions and thoroughly enjoyed by all involved. I'm looking forward to finding an excuse to visit Singapore!
